Reading closer, the truth in your verses stings hot, like tears that fall in quiet shame. The beauty these thoughts contain is the beauty of truth. The reality of this truth is common in far too many families; the wages of our idolatrous materialism (and sin) is death. In this case, the death of something/someone precious who lies at the forgetful self-centered roadside, discarded and alone.

Poingnant words, there are so many Mothers and Fathers meet the same fate. Our neighbours children (grown men and women) don't seem to care that their father is losing his memory, is lonely, or could do with their support right now, very sad :(
A very appropriate photo Tyan.

He looks really handsome in this outfit and I can see he is an intellligent boy. Well done Mummy! Thanks for coming by. I was very shocked to hear what has happened. I do hope your FIL is alright. A similar incident happened to my cousin's girlfriend's mum. She was robbed, bashed her head against the concrete pavement, struggled home, called the police and family members, fell into a coma for 3 weeks and passed away. It was reported in the papers with an article of elderly being robbed. Very traumatic indeed.

I am sorry to hear of what has been happening at home. Perhaps you would like to e-mail me suejohn [AT] gsqm [DOT] com if you need a listening ear about private matters. Thanks for sharing and being so open with me. I consider it a great priviledge to be your online friend. I have learnt so much about things through you. At least, you have a wonderful hubby.....2 lovable kids...and a great God who watches over you! God knows......and He wants the best for you.

I will take note of the things you mentioned in my blog and I will pray for you in all those areas. God bless you, my dear! Will pop by again soon!

Happy Teacher's Day dear Tyan! You may doubt if you are doing the right thing at times, but God knows what's going on in your life. God knows your daily struggles. I already think you are still a teacher. Are you not teaching your beloved sons what they should and should not do?

Are you not holding their hands to guide them along the correct path? Are you not there for them every step of the way? Don't ever doubt yourself. You are still a teacher. Caleb & Ian's best teacher in the world, is no one but you! Consider that a priviledge :)

Hugs babe - I fully understand how frustrated you must be feeling. I have also been through this terrible phase and still going through it. You can only lean on God....will continue to pray that you will be able to cope. Nothing is worse than you being sick yourself and having to take care of kids. It's can be very draining.

I pray that the Lord will give you strength and help you get over this difficult period. My thoughts are with you babe!

Dearest Ty ... what a down month you have had. I like what VF has suggested - something, almost anything - to break that terrible cycle. They're so susceptible when they're young - and then the whole family suffers.
Try your best, that's all you can do! xx
