Ge'en suggested that I could bake to take my mind off and lift up my low spirits..Furthermore, he benefits from the positive externality of enjoying the cake.

Well, not sure about that because i always thought baking is a real hassle.Anyway, decided to give it a shot after i saw a pretty comprehensible recipe online--Chocolate Banana Cake.

What you need:
175g Light Muscavado Sugar
3 Medium sized bananas
175g self raising flour
2 eggs,beaten
3 tablespoons sunflower oil
55ml milk
110g chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
75g walnuts,chopped

Baking Time:
50-60 minutes

Method:
1) Grease a 20x110cm loaf tin
2) Preheat oven to Gas Mark4/180 degree celcius/350 farenheit
3) In a mixing bowl mash the bananas with the sugar until smooth
4) Stir in the flour, eggs, oil and milk, mixing well until everything is thoroughly combined.
5) Gently stir in the chocolate and walnuts.
6) Pour into the tin and cook 50-60 minutes until cooked through
7) Test by inserting a skewer into the centre of the cake-if it comes out clean with no mixture clinging to it, the cake is cooked.
8) Remove from oven and cool in the tin for 5 minutes
9) Turn out onto a wire rack and leave until cold

Wanted to decorate with a peppermint leaf but could not get it near my area so cut a small stalk from the plant hanging outside my house:) Not a bad substitute huh?
