Ian's hands and feet revisited

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 19 June 2007 in People & Portrait.

Decided to post this online.For dear friends who have been visiting my blog,you know i took a picture of Ian's hands and feet about a week ago.You can click the above url to see the original and do a comparison.Of course for a first time shooter like me,i really know nothing about photo processing and stuff.

A p-blogger friend,Henry helped me to process the picture a bit and here it is,even more beautiful than ever!Its like a plain jane going for a makeover and bowling guys over!:)Thanks Henry!

I like the original better! This one's a bit too grainy [unless, of course, you like that sort of thing].

Tyan, this was supposed to be an exercise....I was so mesmerized by your original and wanted you to take more of those pics...B-) I'm honored, nonetheless. Cheers...

p.s. Oh yeah, hub should also take more pics...

I'm not usually a fan of throwing out information in postprocessing, but it works well here. I even like the noise/grain. :)

@chacha: thanks!:)

I do like the processed version better -- it gives an "older" feel, like a photograph lovingly caressed throughout the years. But the original is wonderful as well!
