Caleb was apparently traumatised by this rex, cried the moment daddy lifted him nearer its jaw. This rex blows air from its mouth!
poor kid! i can imagine why he was traumatised by such a huge creature and some more must bear with his breath breathing down on him... good thing it's not bad breath otherwise i think even Law would have had a hard time too :) oh hey - yesterday's shot was really well composed - the use of low angle up is very effective in capturing a viewer's attention...interesting angles that we don't normally see is one way to make unique shots :) looks like you are getting the hang of tkaing great shots! keep at it! :)

@kairospix: thanks so much for your encouragement. After visiting other photo blogs,i sometimes feel rather embarrassed at my own, lol.Yes will keep at it,and you are one of those who will continue to be my inspiration!
Oh man, poor Caleb! Reminds me of when Linda and I took Keshia to see "Disney on Ice" and she was traumatized. A Disney show for crying out loud! (It was the Peter Pan story, too, you know, the one with when Captain Hook was going to get eaten by the crocodile).
Amazing how us adults forget sometimes how fragile these smart, yet tender, little beings are. Reminds me of an ancient quotation:
"Don't push these children away. Don't ever get between them and me. These children are at the very center of life in the kingdom." - JC, Circa 30 B.C.
Thanks for sharing this picture, Tyan...it serves as a reminder of a few things - at least for me. Cheers....!
p.s. don't speak Chinese, unfortunately, lost that maybe 5 generations ago....sad, I know - but will most likely have my kid in "immersion" program.

Oops...that's AD for the quotation...lol. B-)
