Been wanting to introduce this little sweetie to you but have not got a chance to take a snap shot of her until today.
Meet Alison Tan Rui En(陈睿恩),Katherine's 2nd child. Her older son,Brian is going on 3 years old.You can meet him here:)
I must say a big thank you to Kat and hub,Ben,who gave me the great honour of giving Alison's chinese name. They wanted Tan -- En, Tan being the family surname and En meaning grace.Rui,means outstanding.
It has indeed been God's grace as He sees the Tan family through.Alsion arrived a tat earlier at 31 weeks and it has been a most tumultous bumpy road of pregnancy for her dear mom. Went through lots of difficulties and no lack of scares but all is well now.
Alison is very tiny! Kat joked that her body is only about the size of Ian's thigh. Her head is about the size of my palm, minus the fingers.Very small but her mom says she is doing well so far.
I am thankful that both mother and baby are well.Perhaps the road ahead will continue to be a bumpy one with all the possible difficulties that come with taking care of a premmie but God has carried them thus far, giving just enough, sometimes more than enough grace and strength.I am sure God will continue to lead the family through.
Congrats,Kat and Ben on your little new addition!:)
Hi tyan...yup ur absolutely right in your assessment on your last p-blog, being a father has allowed me to fathom a glimpse of what Fatherly Love from God must be like. It also made me more appreciative that someone would love me so much, to the point of sacrificing His own Son to save me from this wretched self! That is something that I can only appreciate beyond words and can never fully understand in my humanity... I guess that's what I meant when I posted this blog, and when I said that being a father taught me much about "unconditional love". Sometimes Keshia can be so naughty, but I always receive her back in my embrace, any day...that must be how God feels about us. About dropping by...although I don't have much time these days to "publish" daily - there are a handful of p-blogger friends that I do check everyday: johnny, wendy (I've seen most her pics, though), sam, bob, billy, yours, and a few handful others that I've gotten to know on a first name basis. It's amazing the amount of inspiration, creativity, and life that is being captured here.
And it has also become a nightly ritual for me and Keshia...hahaha... I actually bought her a "Hello Kitty" digital camera a while back as I'm trying to let her appreciate this thing called photography - something that Ling and her sister Celia's dad passed on to them...maybe I can do the same. B-).
Send my congratulations and blessings to Ben and Kat for Alison. (Alison, a derivative of Alice = Noble, Truth...But I'm sure they probably already know that!)

Halo kitty!I bought a fake camera for Caleb and he has started imitiating me taking snapshots.haha.Maybe you could set up a photoblog that belongs to Keshia!:]
