American breakfast, anyone?Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 6 August 2007 in Food & Cuisine. This coming week is a short week for Singaporeans because Thursday is National Day and Friday is a school holiday.Wednesday is half day for school kids so that makes 2 working days this week.:) So i was in the mood to make a nice breakfast since hub and i have been staying up late to rush his scripts and set his exam papers.Don't you find that having a good and sumptuous breakfast puts you in a better mood for the rest of the day? So we had English muffins, honey baked ham, chicken chipolata, scrambled eggs and tomatoes for breakfast today.Yumms!

A bowl of cereal is what the glut of Americans eat most mornings - BY FAR! 7 Aug 2007 1:15am @Daniel: hi Daniel, thanks for popping by.You will know better,i apologize for the misteake then! But if you stay at a hotel and they serve you something like that, they'd tell you its American breakfast!I wonder why?!They need to go get some education then!:) {H} creatives from Santa Clara, United StatesHmmm...not sure why Daniel say it is not an American breakfast. I do get to order these at a local "Denny's" restaurant, and they are all-american as can be. But then, what is "American" anyways...it is a "melting pot," after all, starting with the early colonist to the early immigrants of the 19th and 20th century. B-) The English, the Irish, the Dutch, the Swedes, the Chinese, the Italians, the...well the list goes on...makes me wonder what the Native American Indians eat for breakfast....B-) Better stop babbling....Send regards to Law and the boyz, as always! Cheers! 13 Aug 2007 8:47am @{H} creatives: maybe they ate barbequed chicken!:) |
