Happy Feet

One day my sis looked at my feet and exclaimed,'Aiyo,your feet look like that of an old woman's!'(Not the exact words but something along that line)
After not taking care of my feet for so long,i had cracked heels,thousands of layers of dead skin(ok,maybe i exaggerated a bit,but u get the point),cracked skin all round my toes and sole.
Last Fri was a school holiday in lieu of the National Day so my dear husband lovingly took care of the 2 kids for the morning while i went for a nice pedicure and haircut.
It is really a good break for me, (i badly wanted one) though it feels kinda weird walking around without having to push a pram and carry baby in my sarong sling. Wonderful feeling for a change,for a while:)
But anyhow, it feels good to have all the dead skin removed,polished and a nice colour touch up!I nearly tip-toed home!
btw can anyone tell me how i can digitally make my feet look smoother,fairer?heh heh...

p.s. the henna according to the Indian lady who did it for Yvonne indicated that some women actually do it to bring blessings for the hubby. The darker they are the better. Not sure, though, if it's equivalent to a manicure...B-)

They really don't look like old feet! My feet are horrible, the biggest finger is very long and the smaller one is hidden behind the one before. The 3 others are twisted like if someone folded them. I think you're lucky to have great feet!

(you know my opinion about nail varnish & all that organic stuff, but, oh well. once in awhile, eh? *) ) real glad you got to have this long-overdue break. thank God for husbands, eh? :)

I know what you mean, I had a manicure and pedicure last month and they had me sit in a massage chair...I was in heaven!!! : )
