Happy Teachers' DayPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 1 September 2007 in People & Portrait. 1st September marks Teachers' Day over here in Singapore. I love teaching, interacting with the kids..now that I am home,i do miss teaching sometimes. I was joking with my good friend Kat that perhaps i should go and get myself a teacher's day present and she, also a teacher-turn-homemaker suggested we could each buy a present and exchange,lol...This is what she bought for me,a nice straw bag(which i am deciding whether to use it as picnic bag or tuition bag),a big plush toy and a bouquet of my favourite flowers delivered to my doorstep. Ian couldnt help licking and touching it so i gotto make this shot quick, lol. Kat is really one blessing in my life, a friend in times of need and a friend who has great humour and kindness. Thanks Kat,for this wonderful Teacher's Day gift. Happy Teachers' Day to you too:) To all teachers out there:
