MAF series: Ian and the completed lantern

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 19 September 2007 in People & Portrait.

As i was saying yesterday,Caleb and i made a lantern in lieu of the Mid Autumn Festival and this is the finished product. It has been quite difficult taking pictures of Caleb without the pictures turning out blur because he cant seem to stop moving, haha.

So presenting to you my model,Ian who just woke up from his nap[see his puffy eyes],with the completed product. What do you think of our lantern?I put in 2 tealight candles and hung it outside our house.

You're model is such a cutie pie! And the lantern looks like it turned out great. Who can resist Pooh Bear? :-)

Ian looks puzzled! haha.. great lantern! My niece and nephew have those electronic ones that are SO irritatingly noisy! Still prefer the old school... nice pic!

Cute. Ian is a great little model. And the lantern his big brother helped make is a super prop. But it's Ian's eyes that have captured the day -- such excellent eye-contact with the camera. He knows the drill.

Awwwww, he looks like he’s saying “hey, why didn’t I get to make one like my “ge ge” (big brother) too? When’s it my turn?! ” :) :o) …He is absolutely totally adorable, babe!! :-)
I can imagine how much more work he is for you nowadays, as he starts to assert his own identity and his own ‘claim’ to you, and is still too young to be reasoned with or to learn right from wrong in a logical way, whilst you’re still having to divide your time between him and his very adorable and handsome “ge ge” too! :) You are doing a marvellous job! And such a lovely and happy lantern this one is. :-)

Thanks again for your lovely long comment on my blog today. Have left you a reply too. Much blessings always to you and yours, dear babe. :)

Somehow i missed this capture (the lantern is Super!)... awww and your little one is just FILLED with CUTENESS!
The only way i know to stop blur with kids is to use a flash - if you feel you flash is a bit bright and going to scare your little one, you can put a piece of tape over it (the not so clear tape like milky white scotch tape) to diffuse the light and it wont be so bright in your little one's eyes either which is way more important.
