Auntie Molly with the kidsPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 24 September 2007 in People & Portrait. Meet Auntie Molly,Caleb's nanny when i was still a full time working mom before Ian came. Molly has a pair of twin boys herself, now already in their late teens and serving the army before going to University. Molly is a very caring nanny who loves kids and has had experience of taking care of 6-7 babies so far.She took care of Caleb when he was 4 months until this year's May when we decided I should stay home to be with the kids. When i was on my way to her place,i felt a lump in my throat.I thought of the money i could earn, the recognition i could derive from my job and the freedom i could have if i continued to let Molly take care of the kids while i work. After all, she is so caring and experienced with the kids. But recently after a friend's sudden death during childbirth,it dawned upon me that we cannot assume that we would live another day and i just want to be there as much as i can with my family. She is carrying Ian,whom she has not taken care of,and Yikang, the child she is currently caring for. He is his parents' fourth child, and they run a business. Yikang is a very handsome lad.See his beautiful eyes.:) Caleb was busy running around.

spots from Singaporehi tyan, my computer crashed & i jus repaired it. jus got round to reading ur comment on myblog - hey, thanks somuch for complimenting daniel! honestly, most of the time, i find him quite irritating (cos i spend all daywith him) so it's nice to hearthat he is actually quite well behaved and participative and charming in nursery hohoho :) actually, i do feel encouraged bythat! thanks! as for his linguistic ability, i am verysure it is genetic la. Lots of moms talk and read to their kids - u too i'm sure? -but dan is jus blessed with his daddy's talkative genes! i suspect ben has my quiet genes and will be much slower verbally :) 24 Sep 2007 5:46am @spots: haha, yeah its true, every child is different.2nd time mommy is like being 1st time mommy all over again..Then ben might become a writer, who knows?haha. Nancy from SingaporeAunty Molly definitely looks like what you've described. Got this kind, motherly look... 24 Sep 2007 6:11am @Nancy: yah i think so too, took me so long to finally be willing to 'give her up',haa @Keneth: thanks keneth:) Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaIt's never easy is it Tyan, but you have a good attitude and perspective, that's very important. Just keep in the loop with newsletters or brochure in your domaine..etc (for those few seconds you have LOL) 'cause one day, they will be in school ;) Beautiful portrait! 24 Sep 2007 11:16am MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomAunty Molly looks a wonderfully caring lady tyan :) a lovely portrait of the three of them. 24 Sep 2007 1:47pm rainsocks from SingaporeShare with you something which might help.. Every Saturday is my day off. Felix takes care of the baby while I do whatever I like. And every time after my day off, I come home and find Jamie much cuter than before. haha. We need a break to be a better mom. So whenever you feel that you are so sick of your kids, take a break from them. You will love them much better after that. :-) Same applies for husband btw. hehe. 24 Sep 2007 2:36pm ChaCha from United Statesnice to show these set of twins...my kind of shot...it's great. molly is truly blessed 24 Sep 2007 3:46pm Markus from Reading, United KingdomBeautiful portrait! How are things? Hope you are doing well! Many thanks for leaving such nice comments on my blog! 24 Sep 2007 6:51pm Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomA warm hello to you, Aunty Molly! It is a real pleasure to meet you this way. Truly wonderful to discover what a warm, caring and nurturing lady you are! :) Parents who entrust their children to experienced mothers and carers like you can do so with a lot more peace of mind and heart than to individuals who haven’t a proven track record of nurture, loving care and dependability like yours. Good on you, Aunty Molly! :) This is a truly beautiful portrait, dear tyan! An excellent shot indeed! I must agree that these two ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE AND HANDSOME bundles of joy do, from some angles, look like twins!! Wow!! You’ve produced a marvellous piece here, and you are doing even more marvellous work as a mom to your two little ones, dear babe. Salutations to you!! :) And a big *kiss* from me to my favourite Mr Mirth too!! :-) 24 Sep 2007 7:11pm Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesAwww - Charming photo with these two little ones.
