Caleb and girl on swing

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 26 September 2007 in People & Portrait.

We went to the park last week and Caleb's new fad is sitting on the swing. For some reason he looked a bit melancholic here.Beside him was a girl who was brought by her grandfather, who gave her a few hard pushes and walked abt 10 m away without a word to do some foot reflexology walk while we became default babysitters in case she falls off the swing.

Caleb does look a little deep in thoughts here.. cute. :-)
Thanks for your tips on the sling! I will go try it out again..
Jamie eats oats + xxx for breakfast. Sometimes carrots, sometimes pear, sometimes banana.. he likes it, for now. hehe..

I love the effects you are playing with Tyan - it adds such a nice ffel to the picture - looks like a painting! Poor Caleb does look a bit melancholic - perhaps he was upset to have to share you with the little girl next door!! haha

Wow, superb processing here, dear babe!! And very lovely pensive expression on Caleb you’ve captured there; i actually like how he looks “lost in his own thoughts”, certainly looks like he’s pondering some deep questions about life! Very meaningful indeed. :)
I’m also struck by the serious look on the little girl’s face….can certainly feel for her in the situation you described….awwww, my heart does go out to her….i do hope her carer/s are usually more attentive than this with her, otherwise it is a very sad situation indeed!!
Really excellent candid portraits, dear tyan!
