An appeal by p/blogger Dimitrios:
Dear friends in the am3 world.
I would like to propose the publication of a couple of self portraits for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of September. It can be anything you like, mirror images which is the easiest, reflection on a spoon! Ha-ha-ha, or even sketches of yourselves.
It will be great to see each other and to meet the talented photographers from all around the globe.
I have the greatest respect for the people that want but cannot due to cultural or religious reasons publish their image on the web.
For these am3-friends that want to participate, I kindly ask them to publish instead a picture of a place in their home town that they are proud of.
Please feel free to copy this text with your daily pictures so we have a great participation.
I am looking forward in meeting you on 28th and 29th September, see ya soon.

This was taken last year,when my students threw a surprise birthday party for me. I was really touched when they told me they started preparing one month before. I was about 3 months pregnant with Ian here. I kinda miss these people. They treated me to the first ice-cream cake of my life.

@rainsocks: yeah,when i go cut hair,the hairdresser always think i am in secondary school,but not anymore after i had Ian,i seem to age by leaps and bounds after Ian came,lol

yes, definetely the one with the balloon, and I recognized you from your previous photo as a baby from the 'girl' in the green shirt from your teacher's day photo. Why did I not think it was you before? 'Cause I seriously thought the green shirt girl was too young!!!! You're so pretty, stop it! LOL

Wonderfully Happy Capture! I can't believe you never had CAKE or ICE CREAM til then? WOW - its American tradition to have a cake (with lots of icing to make a better mess) on the first birthday and take pictures of your little one trying to eat it and how they become covered in it so cutely.
As stated before you look as young as your students - must be that terrific smile.
