Hainanese Chicken RicePosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 5 October 2007 in Food & Cuisine. Caleb's nanny, Auntie Molly taught me how to make this home made hainanese chicken rice. This time,i made it for all 4 of us,including Ian,just that he ate it blended, minus the salt and manmade flavours. Ingredients: Marinate chicken in sesame oil, soya sauce, the broth and a bit of abalone sauce(Optional). Steam chicken for 20-25 minutes. Serve! This time,i put the rice on top of lettuce, garnish with chinese celery, spring onion and tomatoes. Cant see much of the chicken and rice after all the decor though!
