Mamalove Twin StrollerPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 14 October 2007 in Miscellaneous. Sorry i am late today! Thanks for coming by!All 4 of us did not have a good night's rest because the 2 little guys were still running a high fever. Ian even hit 40 deg c yesterday! It was endless cold baths, temperature taking and feeding them medicine. Caleb was coughing so badly he couldnt sleep well. Their fever has subsided a little but Caleb is still coughing badly. And the reason why i can still sit here and blog is because the kids have been 'drugged' by the numerous bots of medicine they had to take,LOL. i know this is nothing much of an aesthetic value but i had to tell you how happy i am to own this mamalove tandem pram. It was the cheapest we could find at the Baby Hypermart, costs $189 on special offer. Twin strollers' cost range from $350-700.This stroller is quite a heavyweight,12 kg,but it doesnt feel heavy when pushing it. I have been pushing Caleb in a stroller and carrying Ian in my sarong whenever i bring them out,but Ian has become too heavy for me. I have been having bad shoulder and backaches, recently even my hands and legs were beginning to ache terribly. Now that i can sit both of them in this stroller,my aches should lessen. I am a happier (and sleepier,*YAWN*)mom for now:p Good Night, and hopefully see u tomorrow!

Relax and enjoy!! 14 Oct 2007 8:41am rainsocks from SingaporeTyan - i always wonder abt how to get around Singapore in these heavy twin strollers... since Singapore is so stroller UNfriendly. Often I have to carry my stroller up and down stairs. Anyway, let me know how you find it after using... I'm very interested to know. :-) And take care!!!! 14 Oct 2007 10:48am Nancy Goh from SingaporeGood for you! Was thinking about buying 1 too but decided agst it cos Robyn refuses to sit in a stroller nowadays. So, it's kinda impossible for me to bring both kids out without any extra help! 14 Oct 2007 12:46pm Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomDearest tyan, Thanks so much for stopping by even amid this crazy time for you!! Soon - very soon they will be all better. 15 Oct 2007 3:56pm Sassy from SingaporeI bought this stroller too! I bought it during the GSS Sale which is always the best time to buy anything fancy at half the price! A tandem stroller is the very thing a desperate mommy need to travel with when she has more than one kid but has no car to bring them out in. The primary reason why I bought it is because my hubby works like a madman and I travel alone. I have a 5-yr-old Princess who hates walking long distances and a toddler who runs faster than you can catch! So having a tandem stroller is my only answer to please the Princess and also tame the little Tiger. It has been with us for almost a year now! We find it soooooo versatile, it can even sit 3 kids if both seats are positioned horizontally and the kids are seated cross legged in a line! We even use it to carry tons of shopping. Sure it has its downside for example it is really heavy to carry up and down the stairs (but then again, most places in Singapore now has slopes!), and it takes up a huge amount of space so once you load up into the lift, you get many angry faces staring back at you as the door closes (but no worries, I always use the service lifts now! Sure they are dark and less classy.... but it sure is spacious!). Now I am looking to adding some nifty accessories to further maximize my little MPV! 24 Apr 2008 10:00am |
