Spidey or Big Bird?

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 15 October 2007 in People & Portrait.

Thank you dear friends, for your kind words at my blog yesterday. I have not started using my new pram,i will let you know how it is when i try it tomorrow.

Its a school holiday today and husband was able to bring us to the children's doctor. It turned out that Ian's fever had nothing to do with Caleb's fever and cough.

Doc says that Ian actually has 'false measles',as he broke out in lots of red rash today, together with high fever, lack of appetite and loose stools.

Caleb was given antibiotics, hopefully he will get better in the next few days.

These boys ahhh...Marcus was like that too, he broke out into rashes after his bout of high fever last time. I'm expecting the same thing this time round as well..his fever shot up to 39.9 deg and stayed there for almost half a day, despite being fed Nurofen. Robyn, too, has a high fever. The doc wanted to give her anti-biotics, but I questioned the doc and said she's never taken it before and unless it's really justified, I'm not going to allow her to take it. Hahaha...here, we have Dr Nancy Goh! :p
U let Ian chew on these toys? I freak out whenever Marcus begin to put unauthorised items into his mouth. So afraid, esp after the recall of toys made in China. I'm fine with them playing with the toys but not to lick/taste them! :o

Awwwww, I hope he feels better. He looks very confused in this photo. I think he should try to take both on at once.

ohhhh, both spidey and big bird look so cute, but Ian is definitely the most adorable!! :) Dear darling one, really hope he recovers from the measles, 'false' or otherwise, soon and all this horrible discomfort! will love to see him back to his natural wonderfully mirthful mood! :) . Praying too for handsome little man Caleb, that he’ll be feeling better soon with the medication. Do take care, all of you very dear ones!! Lots of *hugs* from our household to yours.

where do u live tyan? i read ur previous entry abt the bill for seeing a doctor! I can recommend u to see a good GP who doesn't charge exorbitantly for kids and he does stock kids' medicines too. Also, I find him patient, professional, competent and able to explain to me abt my kids' illnesses... which is better than some paediatricians out there!!!!! But I not sure where u live...are you near great world city?
