Sulky GirlPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 31 October 2007 in People & Portrait. I was saying that my camera's LCD CRACKED and i cannot see a preview of the pictures i take.I have to look through the viewfinder and i only know how the pictures turn out when i download them to the computer. I'll have to get it repaired and that'll take a week or two. Meanwhile i will take you on a trip down memory lane abt some of the things that happened before i became an avid p/blogger this year, after Ian's arrival. So they'll be old photos.Bear with me while i get the camera LCD fixed:) This is a photo of some of the cousins from my dad's side. We were never close with any of them, but when my grandparents were still alive, they had 2 shops, one in Chinatown and another in Lavendar and the cousins would gather together and play. I am the shortest girl in pink, sulking. The taller girl beside me is my sister and the boy standing at the extreme left, not with the group is my bro. My mom told me that i didnt like to pose in front of the camera and would always shun away. She also said i was a sulky kid who seldom smiled or laughed. I remember my mom telling me that it was hard for her to win the lottery after looking at me,because my sulky face would have chased away any good luck. Bad news. I think I am still a sulky,um,now old girl.haha.

Rags from Plano, United Statesi think you would rather be behind the camera than in front of it. Thanks for sharing this image with us. Hope your camera gets fixed soon. 31 Oct 2007 5:20am e. from Washington DC, United StatesAwwww you look so cute and unhappy standing there. And I think you still really look like you now!! :-) As for your sis.... I really had a good laugh seeing her in that photo! haha.. tell her she looks really funny with that big pink bow! *evil laugh* ;p 31 Oct 2007 7:55am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaHey there sweetie, you're more of a 'behind the scene' girl, and that's a very good thing Lol Happy halloween! 31 Oct 2007 8:36am Shutterbug from Chennai, Indiajust an indicator that ur meant to be behind the camera, not in front of it! :) 31 Oct 2007 12:01pm Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesWell - maybe you just needed the right people around you to make you smile. Nothing wrong with being able to "see through" all the fake smiles of the would. I'm sure your true laughter can still be captured. 31 Oct 2007 9:38pm Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomI agree with Rabbit. Dearest babe, the honest caring in your heart for others is so much more precious than any ‘fake smiles’ people may offer. There’s nothing wrong with being sulky on the outside (in fact, I think it’s pretty cool, and YOU, dear friend, are cool indeed.) It’s what’s on the inside that matters. And methinks you are the true treasure inside (and real gorgeous on the outside too, it just so happens! :) ). You can tell your mom that is worth far more than ten billion lottery wins. ;) 1 Nov 2007 12:42am nalen from Alliston, Canadashow your new pic and I will tell you if you're still sulky lol! 1 Nov 2007 1:44am Rabbit from Richmond, United Statesoh btw i meant to ask you... you commented and said there was a po in me? whats that? post office?
