You can do anything Daddy!Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 9 November 2007 in People & Portrait. Thank you dear friends for your very kind comments on my blog the past 2 days. Today someone just commented to me why i always sound so depressed on my blog. I dont think its ALWAYS,but maybe OFTEN enough,LOL. I said, try looking after 2 very young kids on your own with no help all day, cook, clean, doing everything and anything;from a full time professional who takes pride in her work to a full time stay home mom who for all her years of education has never prepared her enough to care for 2 very young and clingy kids... Maybe, then maybe you might have an inkling why.:p Honestly, blogging has become my way of voicing out my thoughts and feeling over cyberspace, something which i really need to do,somewhere to vent my frustrations, now that adult interaction has decreased significantly for me. I borrowed this book from the library because it is so cute and funny. Its actually a story of how a kid asked the daddy what the latter would do if he was chased by gorilla pirates, snakes, robot pirates etc and daddy would go through fire and hell to save his son. Caleb enjoyed seeing pictures of the pirates and of course his daddy reading to him. I told myself i must take a picture of Law reading to our kids because i think it would really be such a keepsake when the kids grow up. My dad never read to me before, not much chance anyway cos i was fostered out. I never knew how to sing a single nursery rhyme until my husband taught me. He had the privilege of his dad reading and singing to him in his kiddo days. Hub has gone for army reservist for 3 weeks so i am posting this photo to tell him that we all miss him.

It is so full of expressiveness and mutual ease, father and son delighting in this book and precious moment together. Truly excellent work in every way. 10 Nov 2007 3:58am MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomOh this is a beautiful father and son moment! I used to loved to be read to when I was little, although it didn't happen too often, I will always remember it :) Sorry I've only just caught up with your blog, you just wouldn't believe the day I had yesterday.
