stacking turtles

Last week,Hub had a day off from reservist so we went to this macdonalds that is right smack in the middle of a garden with a turtle pond.The turtles are stacking on top of one another maybe to get the sun or get a better view of life outside the pond.:)

What a lovely setting, it's a great idea and obviously Caleb thinks so too. I love the way he's peering over the bar to get a better look.
Adam would have gone crazy if he saw this when he was little, he would have been running around singing " hero's in a half shell, Turtle Power" from the cartoon that was popular then. LOL :D

I think Caleb is watching that one turtle still swimming in the lower right; that's what I would have been doing, and my son, at that same age. He'd know the stack isn't going anywhere, but that one swimmer...? Great portrait of your little prince and his turtles today, tyan.

dearest tyan, thanks so much for your very kind and lovely comments at my site today once again! i LOVE this image you've composed today too! the green colours are so soothing; the stacking of those turtles is so fascinating indeed; and i do tend to agree with VF here that Caleb is probably intrigued by the lone turtle swimming there! Great outing tyan - I feel a bit sorry for those tortoises all piled up - it looks like they need more room!! Amazing green water! Caleb seems to be enjoying his day out
