Caleb in the playhouse

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 26 November 2007 in People & Portrait.

We brought caleb to his kindegarten orientation over the weekend and he had a few minutes of fun in a little playhouse.

Another boy of a bigger build pushed him out while he was at the door and he ran to me and buried his tear-stained face in my skirt.

AWWWW.

And the mother of that boy didnt have the basic courtesy to apologize even though she saw what happened.

Maybe this is the time to let go and let caleb learn what it is like to live in this very harsh and cruel world, even among little children.

Argh.

He's so sweet, it's hard isn't it...they'll be best friends before you know it :)

Caleb has a look of sheer delight on his little face bless him.
It is hard at first hun, but as Lorraine has said, they probably will end up friends. Adam met his first friend in a similar way and they were friends for years.

Ooooooh, just look at that priceless expression of joy and discovery on Caleb’s face!! LOVE it. :o) Wow, your little man is exploring newer and bigger worlds already, dear babe. I’m so excited for you!! Certainly, there’ll be bittersweet encounters along the way, but as you’ve rightly pointed out, he’ll learn through them too, and you’ve given him a good solid foundation that will stand him in good stead for years to come. I agree with Rags, I'm confident your boys will do well too. Take heart, dear babe. :)

He sure looks to be having a jolly good time - pity the other little boy spoilt it for him.......It's always hard letting go, but it so rewarding when you see them flourish in their new environments!!!! And as Rags said - you've raised him right so he will soldier on Just fine dear friend!! :)

How RUDE... ugh. i'm sorry this world has such rudeness - i can say at least we are all not like that. And, you know the expression "what goes around comes around"... maybe the bigger little boy will learn before its to late.
