Hello everybody!I am back! Thanks for coming by and giving such encouraging comments and kind words about my humble dish,THANK YOU!

Our little household went to Langkawi,a rustic island town in Kedah,Malaysia for a few days and it was really an enjoyable trip!

I shall begin our Langkawi Dream series here, which may end near Christmas,i hope you will enjoy the photos as much as we had enjoyed our trip!

This is the chalet by the water where we stayed.Doesnt it just feel great to sleep and wake to the sound of the waves hitting gently against the coast?:)

i'm so envious! If we were to go for a trip, the daddy would drive me mad first instead of the kids.

WOW, dear babe, really hearty WELCOME BACK !!!! I am so going to looooooove your series!! It just so happens that Langkawi is one of our sooooo favourite places on this planet!!! It’s years since we’ve been, but I still have such fond recollection of the downright good times and fun we had there. My memories of the actual place are pretty hazy now, so I will definitely look forward to each of your images of this FANTASTIC place to just be. How blessed you and family are to have spent this wonderful time together there. We still have yet to bring Elise to an island paradise like that. :) I love this image, and all the gorgeous thoughts and feelings it evokes. Truly WOW, again!! :)

hi mommy tyan welcome back!
this chalet looks awfully familiar to the one i was in with friends way back during my NIE days! and yes we were on Langkawi too! was it one where you could call for a buggy ride to come and pick you giys up to go to the main lobby area? can't remember the name...
how could i forget that trip to Langkawi since we had the whole tour bus to ourselves (about 8-10 of us) on the way there and then squeezing into a minivan back with only one driver travelling at night (sitting in front i had to keep talking to the driver to keep him awake!)
then there was the tyre puncture due to hitting a pot-hole (i was the driver...sigh...luckily no one was injured) and having to pay for a new wheel to the rental company...
but we did have many good times there!
and i'm not surprised you and your family had a great time there... you guys flew there right? :)

My dear Tyan...welcome back from your vacation. I have missed so much of your pictures, and I didn't even know that you had left to Langkawi...then I see the "Yunn is very happy with her holidays spent at Langkawi" on FB. B-) And decided to check your AM3...looking forward to more vacation pics. Here's wishing you a blessed holiday season, Merry Christmas and Happy 2008...send regards to Law and the boys as always. Thanks always for your prayers and thoughts....Cheers, my friend! B-)

The sound of the waves IS so relaxing. I'm so happy you had a wonderful trip. Take the sound of the waves with you in your heart and when times get tough and try your patience - think of the calming sound of the waves.
