冬至(dong zhi)

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 24 December 2007 in Food & Cuisine.

Hello everyone, decided to take a little break from my Langkawi Dream series today.22nd Dec(last sat) was what Chinese call 冬至(dong zhi),where family gather together to eat glutinous rice balls with sesame/red bean or peanut filling.

I bought the glutinous rice balls from supermarket and boiled them in water, rock sugar, pandan leaves and ginger.

Today is Christmas' Eve and i want to wish all AM3 friends and dear friends a Blessed Christmas,Christ is the reason for the season!
