Caleb's First day of school

It was an early day for us.'Packed' ian to my mom's place so that i can concentrate on being there with Caleb on his first day.
Clockwise from top left-Caleb and i held hands as we walked towards the bus stop.He seemed to know life was going to be slightly different and held my hands really tightly.
We took a bus that took us straight to the kindergarten. And when we reached,he actually pointed to his school--(the bottom right pic) and said 'skool!'

ahhh so beautiful, I sympathise totally, I remember when my son started first grade, he was fine all the way lightly holding my hand as he looked around until came the time when the whistle was heard and all the teachers gathered around with the colours each child should go to. Then he squeezed my hand very hard. The separation is inevitable...and yet here I am remembering it like was yesterday, and feeling that little hand squeezing my heart.
