Lemon Butter Prawn and Scallop with Broccoli

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 4 March 2008 in Food & Cuisine.

Got my inspiration from AM3 friend,Wayne, who cooks up a storm for his friends.I just put in the ingredients according to his dish title and modified a bit.

I know of people who really can cook and prepare delicious, exotic and fantastic food for their family,i totally admire them for their culinary skills but I cook mainly for survival and am always on the lookout for simple-to-prepare and absolutely-no-frying because i hate cleaning up the kitchen too extensively with 2 bawling kids after their nap time.

You will need:
10 tiger prawns(remove head, shell and clean it thoroughly)
5-6 pieces of scallop
Broccoli
Butter(30g)
garlic,chopped
Juice of 3 lemons
Grinded Coriander leaves to garnish

1)Heat up pan
2)Put in butter
3)fry garlic
4)put in prawns and scallop
5)When halfway cooked,add in broccoli

hello mommy tyan!
i'm doing ok but have been pretty occupied by deadlines and matters of life (what's new right?)...
i was just thinking about dropping by at your pblog as i have not been visiting it for a long time (nor any in AM3 actually)...
looks like i've missed quite a number of lovely shots of your boys and of course your delicious food shots!
you really should start some web-based business selling receipes for busy young moms :)
if not then maybe a cookbook?!?
hee's another idea - write a book on how to survive as a young stay-home mom or just sharing your chronicles - i bet it will sell like hot cakes!!! try it :)
take care!

I would suggest you add the word "recipe" in the tags. That will be quite helpful to me as well as search engines.

Hey, i've just succeeded in baking an apple sponge cake. Marcus is my #1 fan when it comes to baking and cooking. He would finish the stuff really quickly...:) A motivation to source out more dairy-free recipes for him!

Wow, my family never got anything that looked this good back in the 1960's when our children were the age of yours! But then, seafood and fresh vegetables weren't as readily accessible where we lived.
This looks wonderfully delicious and I've saved your recipe!
PS: Adding a recipe tag is a good idea!

Hi, I googled a recipe for scallops and brocoli and your blog came up. I just took the scallops and prawns out of the freezer to thaw and will pick fresh brocoli later and give your recipe a try, it looks so good in the photo
