Holiday Fun: Fish FarmPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 14 March 2008 in People & Portrait. We decided to check out the fish farm at Pasir Ris yesterday and to our surprise,it was quite 'deserted' save for another few 3 or 4 other customers. It costs $4 per pax to fish for half an hour in this elongated half metre deep pond.We were told by someone who has been there that he only managed to catch 2 fishes in the first half hour.We went and we decided to do the tyrannosaurus-rex tactic by cornering the fish and we managed to catch quite a lot!Caleb kept fetching water from the pond and pouring them onto the floor(and gt a scolding from us) until he also quite got the hang of it and caught 2 fishes by himself!Probably a fluke but it made him very happy when we praised him. Hub also enjoyed the fish catching, for that morning, the litle boy in him returned and he was so happy with each catch, haha.
