Mandy from Johannesburg, South AfricaSuch a cute capture of Caleb Ty!! I see he's taking after his mommy.....do we have a little budding photographerin our midst? Enjoy the break from Kindy and have fun with your little ones at home - I know the break will give you much needed peace of mind! :) 25 Apr 2008 6:07am Nishana Minhaz from Calicut, IndiaCute, the way he is holding it.. Did he really mean it to be a camera? :) 25 Apr 2008 7:40am Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesReally great shot of Caleb practicing his camera work. Cute. And about your comments on people who bring their sick children out -- I agree. I expand that to say I can't stand it when adults who are sick also go into public places. Last night, Mrs. VF and I were eating in a small restaurant, when we both noticed the table next to us (close) had one couple, and they were both coughing and coughing. One of them in particular appeared to be feeling very poorly. Because of the smallness of this particular restaurant, I am sure she managed to spread her infection to others (and we're hoping not us). I thought to myself right then, "Why, if you are this sick, do you not think of others and stay home?" 25 Apr 2008 8:36am Sue from SingaporeHi Tyan, it's good to have this break. Pray it stops the spread. Just had a scare when Shanna came down with fever. Panicky....we brought her to see the doc immediately. Thankfully, it is not HFMD. She's recovering but I am really worried about her and the health of the 2 younger ones. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. 25 Apr 2008 1:10pm Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesCaleb, did you get a good photo of Mommy? This is so cute, Ty! Glad to hear your kindy is closing for the ten days ... and don't get me started on the sick people who are out infecting others. We see it all the time in church, too, however here in Florida, people don't get as many colds as in some climates. God bless you ....... and take care, Judy 25 Apr 2008 3:41pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United Kingdom"CHEESE" A big smile just for you Caleb :D Some people are just so selfish, poor little children being taken out and about when it's obvious that they are not well and risking spreading HFMD. One day when I was working a little boy came in with his mother and father to have his hair cut, the poor little soul look so ill, he had a burning fever and was all spotty. He had Chicken pox and they were on his scalp! He sobbed all the way through, it was heart breaking to see him. I didn't want to cut his hair and said that maybe it would be better to bring him back when he was well enough, they didn't want to know and got quite cross with me when I suggested it to them. How totally irresponsible of them, he was way to sick to be out, let alone bringing him to somewhere whilst he had Chicken pox. Thank goodness the Kindy has seen some sence and hopefully this will go some way to stop any more poor children getting HFMD. 25 Apr 2008 4:07pm @MaryB: yeah Mary,i hope the break will really put a stop to the cycle.Actually, when a preschool reaches a certain number of infections, the ministry of health will advise them to close 'voluntarily'.When a mini epidemic breaks out within the school,it is 'ordered' to close.I regretted bringing Caleb to school for 3 days last week when the numbers of infections were rising,i hope he is ok.i feel for you when you narrated abt the poor chicken pox boy.i remember feeling awful when i had chicken pox and how i threw up when i was lying in bed and my puke was all over my face and flowed back into my ears and nostrils,LOL.I hope you have had our round of Chicken pox and is immune to the virus.I think the parents are very very inconsiderate, they not only put their little boy to lots of discomfort, they are also putting you and those in the vicinity to exposure of the virus. Some people only have hearts big enough to think for themselves. bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomHey tyanmoon..Unclebilly popping over..put the kettle on..it's been a while since I've visited your p/blog..and blimey,pal..what a lot to read...some ace photo's of the boys also..I liked this one the best:- 25 Apr 2008 11:36pm Shrig from NorthEast, United StatesCute shot! I see he takes after you with a camera infront of him! I think being out sick is a Catch-22. Most places to work around here you work regardless of how sick you are. However, when one is sick, rest is the only thing that will make your body strong again. Why is it seen as such a weakness to be sick and take off? I'm not so sure, but I can't help but think it needs to change. Nice to see you again! Caleb is adorable. 26 Apr 2008 3:55pm Ras from Plano, United StatesLooks like he is taking a picture of you and all of us. nice to see the joy in him. 26 Apr 2008 7:09pm Desparado from Despo Ville, IndiaTalk of returning to innocence...candid n cute:) 27 Apr 2008 7:50am {H} creatives from San Francisco Bay Area, United StatesHello my dear friend, sorry it took me a while to return your visit. It looks like I have missed much! Things have been quite rough still. Caleb is so cute as always, he does look much bigger (I don't think it's my imagination). Send regards to Law and the boys.
