The Singapore FlyerPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 14 May 2008 in Architecture. We went on a ride on the buzz-of-town the Singapore Flyer.Caleb has been very excited about it.Had a nice view of the city, though large parts of it were under construction and i found the ferris wheel too slow. But nevertheless we are happy to have an experience of a lifetime like this.:)

Sue from Singapore, SingaporeNice shots espcially the family picture! You look good :) BTW, this reminds me that we have yet to take a shot as a family with 3 of them! Did it cost a lot to bring the whole family for a ride? 14 May 2008 7:45am @Sue: hi babe,we paid $30 per adult for the normal ride. Our kids went in free as they were under 3 years old.Cant rem if there was a rate for children above 3.Felt it was rather overpriced but once in a while ok la!! MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA great series of shot's Tyan, what a wonderful experience for you and your family. How should I say it...the "standing height" was well arranged - tallest to shortest! *LOL* I hv nt been to the flyer yet. Must we purchase the tickets in advance or can we buy on spot? What are the timings like? Every hourly? 14 May 2008 11:59pm @bwee: ha tallest to shortest!I didnt notice actually! We booked tickets in advance from website. Then supposed to be there half an hour in advance to collect ticks. We didnt really wait,we just went through lots of line queues and boarded even before our timing.Half hour ride,so timings is every half hour, but cant remember when they begin the day and end. |
