Cable Car

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 18 June 2008 in Cityscape & Urban.

We promised Caleb to bring him on a cable car ride so we did yesterday. Not as exciting as the one on the one we had at Langkawi but the boys were happy. When we reached Sentosa, we saw this Sky Ride thingy that goes up and down a tower and rotating at the same time.Took a pic of it,see the top right picture.

Then we stayed around Sentosa for a while and the boys played with some 'waterworks' outside the Butterfly Park.

School reopens next week and next half of the year will be a very hectic and i think stressful one wth Hub starting his studies and also army training, which means i will have to be on my own almost every day of the week, day and night. I try not to think too much about it. Will take a step at a time. I need to purchase that cloning rights on auction. Maybe i'll clone a few of me or a few of my hub?

Sue from Singapore

Clone both of you babe! Just kidding! I know what you are facing as I am on the same road. My hubby has been away for 5 weeks already. he returns next week and will go off again in July or August. Sigh! Just have to put up with the loneliness for this trying period. You may feel lonely at first but eventually you will find things to occupy your mind while he is away. The good thing is, whatever your hubby is doing is for the good of the family.

I know you being the Angel of the House (pls see my previous post "Angel of the House") will have to ensure everything is intact in the home. And think about it, if you can support him by making sure his home is good and he can progress ahead smoothly, it is well worth the sacrifice. His success benefits the family. Never ever think all this is a waste because you are doing a very noble job as a mum.

Also someone told me motherhood is a service to God (pls see Motherhood - A service to God on my blog). What she said encouraged me deeply and I want to share that with you. If you feel lonely, feel free to share your thoughts with me. But I know, God will give you the strength to go through what is ahead! Be strong, my dear.

Love the water down at the bottom left - cool shot. Actually they are all cool shots - and you and your sweet boys are quite a cute family.

Looks like a great day is being had by all. Thanks for asking about Bella and the VF family. Bella's doing ok for now; my fears/our fears have to do with "what if" her condition worsens. Which is why I am asking for prayer, and praying diligently for healing for our sweet girl. That God step into the situation and bring that doggie heart into its proper condition and shape.

I do believe miracles still happen, but have rarely given thought to praying for one until now. I also believe what the Bible says, that there is nothing too hard, nothing impossible, for God. And so I pray...

You gave the boys another wonderful outing and in a week, school will be open again.
I like what Sue has written about the value of your Hub's time away; hang in there for him, for you and your boys!
We too, are praying for VF's Bella ....... God loves dogs too!

I was telling Robyn that we'll take the cable car the next time we go to Sentosa. Guess it's another activity that we want to be the 'first' to experience with the kids. :D
I'm sure you'll be able to handle! You survived so far...it'll get easier. :)
