Children's Week: Fishing

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 4 October 2008 in People & Portrait.

We went fishing a few days back and it was quite crowded because it was a public holiday.Husband asked me why fish can survive in water and we cannot. Any takers?

Just because... thats the answer I used to get all the time from my parents when I asked a question they didnt know the answer to or couldnt be bothered answering. Its a great answer and works in a huge number of situations, I highly recommend it ! :-)

"cause we don't have gills...am I smart or what, but mostly 'cause we wouldn't taste good as sushi! I love how you catch your sweeties in action :)

Oh, I love your photo AND your question. My 'gut' response the same as Lorraine's.

Actually, fish breathe by drinking.

Caleb is really growing up. His different pictures are showing a growing young boy. It might be easier to see this from a distance than as a parent up close. At least this was true of us in our raising kids years.
