Science LessonsPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 30 January 2009 in People & Portrait. Wednesdays mornings are our Science lessons. We plucked the different parts of the plant and got Caleb to name them(flower, seed, stem, brance, root, leaf), and know what plants need to live (fyi:Sunlight, water and air,and basically God,because He causes all things to grow, though science lessons doesnt teach the last most important factor). Science lessons are the most interesting to me,too bad i can't bring the boys to the moon! That'll come under astronomy?

MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomBless you Tyan, Caleb looks transfixed looking at the little flower in the jar. I agree with Rags (Kanyi) you are an awesome mommy! 30 Jan 2009 11:21am Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United StatesCaleb's intensity is impressive. This young man has a great personality and seems to have much going on inside his head. He will go far in life with that combination. 30 Jan 2009 1:38pm Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaWhat a fantastic portrait...I love it, and I adore the colour selection, wow 30 Jan 2009 4:23pm bwee from SingaporeGee tyan! U make me feel so ashamed of myself! u remind me what our NPL is really abt - bonding and educating our kids! Often I get so caught up with the daily household chores that I totally overlook this part. U r such a great mom!! *pat shoulder* 30 Jan 2009 6:20pm Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesWhat a cool MOMMY thing to do. I've got to take notes on this - you have some GREAT ideas Tyan! 30 Jan 2009 7:30pm Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesJust look at the concentration in his eyes ... what a wonderful mom you are! 30 Jan 2009 11:31pm Nancy from SingaporeAt the Kidzworld, only Kieran dared to ventured to the main play area, waiting for the giant bucket of water to splash on him. Robyn was the first to leave the wet play - the breeze was making her too cold. The water was surprisingly clean; even my sis said it was brown the last time they were there. They probably changed the water (finally!) but I'm not too keen to bring the kids too often. We were just lucky that the water was clean. 31 Jan 2009 5:36am Mandy from South Africahahah - Great science experiment for your little guy - well not so little anymore - I like the selective processing!! :) 1 Feb 2009 3:33am |
