Kids say the darnest things

I recently bought a pop-up book on parts pf a human body at Borders Bargain sale. Caleb was flipping the book one day and pointed to a picture of a baby in a womb.
He asked,pointing to the baby,
'Mummy,what's that?'
'That's a baby, dear'
'What about that?' Pointing to the linings of the womb.
'That is a womb. You were also in mummy's womb when you were a baby.'
He immediately showed a look of disgust.
'NO! I am not baby, I am not in your womb!'
'But you were in my womb before you were born.'
'NO! Later I get stuck in your womb, and i cannot come out from your mouth!'
HAHAHAHA.I almost fell off the chair laughing. He'll be totally grossed out if I told him he came out from you-know-where instead!

I read this and laughed, but I might suggest that when you do tell him where he "came out" that you might use another word ... a _ _ isn't a very nice word in English! *smile* There will be plenty of time to explain the other orifices of the body! Hugs........

hahahha....that's a good one, Caleb! And glad to hear that he is adjusting to his new friends. Kids are really highly adaptable.
Wow! It's great to hear that the rainbow reminded you of me...hehehe :)
1 more regret to put to my list of moving to stay with MIL -- the anchorvale CC, the swimming pools and the nature park. Sigh....

awww - yeah kids do say the funniest things. Its so funny to think how the mind works at that age, we have to evaluate the situation with the limited knowledge we are introduced to and hey at that age, the mouth seems pretty logical to me too. He could have thought that you pooped him out, glad he thought of the mouth ha ha.
