Its the March one-week holidays!Term One has passed by so quickly. Caleb's Chinese Teacher gave out a list of words she has taught for the term,mainly family members and parts of the body.

After i taught him to recognise certain Chinese characters,i realised that it wasn't that he can recognise the words,but he simply remembered them because i placed the cards in a certain order on the wall,and he memorised them in order. Once i re-arranged the cards, he was lost.

I wrote down the Chinese characters of parts of the body on cards and jumbled them up and ask him to place each card on the corresponding part on Papa and he was so tickled by it. It was also effective because we could tell whether he really could recognise the characters or merely memorise by sequence.
