Butterfly Lodge @ Oh Chin HuatPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 5 June 2009 in People & Portrait. I have been teaching Caleb life cycles of various animals and insects using puzzles and storybooks but nothing beats seeing the real thing. So when i saw from my friend,Nancy's blog how she brought her kids to the Butterfly Lodge, we decided to bring the boys there today.(And Nancy,we've been there before, bringing our students for field trip, remember? We were both pregnant with our first and you offered me bread, haha, will never forget that:)) The lodge was not as big nor the butterfly species as varied as i saw on their website but it was good enough to show them how the butterfly grew from egg to caterpillar to cocoon then to a beautiful butterfly! More coming up next few days.:)
