Butterfly Lodge: I have eyes on my back

Posted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 8 June 2009 in Animal & Insect.

Butterflies typically have a lifespan of 2 to 4 weeks. Some as short as a few days. But there are also migrant species which can live up to few months.

One way to tell the difference between butterflies and moths is from their antennae. The former has threadlike antennae with clubbed tips, whereas the latter has antennae that can be hairy, threadlike, filamentous but never with clubbed tips.

Can you see the clubbed tips on this one?

Watch the flash MV of the classic 《蝴蝶飞呀》by小虎队 here:)
If you are not much older or younger than me,you probably listened to this song played on radio over and over again when we were still kids!:)
