Butterfly Lodge: Eating lunch

Husband was pointing to Caleb how the butterflies draw nectar from flowers. It''s like sipping from a straw. Tell me if you know of an easier explanation:)

Can you see the clubbed tips?(Butteflies have clubbed tips but moths don't)

Such a simple explanation that the kids will understand. Is there sthg like a straw at the butterfly's mouth? Didn't notice a straw-like mouth.
