Butterfly Lodge: Eating lunchPosted by tyan (Singapore, Singapore) on 10 June 2009 in Animal & Insect. Husband was pointing to Caleb how the butterflies draw nectar from flowers. It''s like sipping from a straw. Tell me if you know of an easier explanation:) Can you see the clubbed tips?(Butteflies have clubbed tips but moths don't)

Nancy from SingaporeSuch a simple explanation that the kids will understand. Is there sthg like a straw at the butterfly's mouth? Didn't notice a straw-like mouth. 10 Jun 2009 11:56am Lorraine from CanadaSuch a sunny summer photo, I love it Tyan...can't seem to be able to log into am3 but apparently I can act as a visitor, so I'm visiting lol 10 Jun 2009 1:58pm Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United Statesthis is a delightful image ... to go along with L's lesson for Caleb. xx 10 Jun 2009 8:01pm bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomHey tyanmoon...don't faint..it's Unclebilly dropping in..mine's an Earl Grey please..*-)) 10 Jun 2009 9:57pm |
