Evolution of Caleb's drawings

Caleb drew smiley faces for the longest time,before he started drawing a flower(only once at my request),a cat. And yesterday he surprised me by drawing a whole landscape of mountains,with blue flowers,apple tree,orange tree,white rambutan-looking sun, blue clouds and a hairy man doing stretching exercise(the hairy looking club-like thing on the bottom right is a man doing stretching exercise!!).This is so funny!:)

I like the happy face! And that man in the bottom picture, he's doing stretching exercise?! He must've woken up early and come to the mountains to get exercise.. Ha ha.. I really like this post. Makes me smile.. :)

Oh Ty, it is beautiful!! I love his art. Kids draw the most amazing pictures and your collage of his art work is superb!!! You must be very proud - he's such a clever little guy!! :)

The complexity of his drawings also shows his thinking process has changed. It's amazing how much the kids have learnt over the past yr.
Did you ask Caleb why he drew mountains and clouds? Could it be that he remembered the family trips you have taken?
