Getting ready for school

Time flies. Ian is turning 3 next January. I still have vivid memories of him at the delivery suite. He came out at half the time (compared to Caleb), resulting in a less traumatised mom. I was going to keep him at home till he turns 4, but during the week i wanted to cancel his place in the kindy, Ian started asking for the same bag as his brother and even went into the school hall with Caleb and sat down with his older brother in his class. The teachers kindly 'played along' and allowed Ian to go into school briefly. He turned back and cast me a long glance, then sat down with his brother, never looking back again. (Sigh.I think i wished he looked back more than once!) Ian hollered when I had to carry him out. So Husband said, why don't we let him go to school since he wants so much to. So we confirmed his place in school for next year and bought him his uniforms, which he insisted on wearing at home one day, refusing to take it off. He even posed for me when i took out the camera.

Wow, see how quickly these little ones start growing up and wanting to test their wings? He's so pleased with this "new" big boy he's becoming.

Somehow, the 2nd child seems to be more independent. Same as Marcus.

Ian looks so smart and grown up in the uniform. I think you will go through another round of separation anxiety.

Yes how time flies.. and Jamie is only 2 months younger than Ian! I hardly think he's ready for school yet though.. or am I the one who's not ready? haha...

So cute! Guess he can't wait to join his older bro at school. Errrm...just wondering why did you originally want to keep him home till 4??
